IvyGen is a fantastic little program created by Thomas Luft to create vines, or ivy vines complete with foto real leafs that can look very realistic on your objects, such as trees, walls, etc.
I also have a tutorial for this great program, so look for it there, though I have a link to it on my Tutorials page also.

There will be a new version coming out later this year and I will be making a new tutorial for that when it comes out.
This is a direct link to the zip file in case you just want the tutorial, but I ask you to please visit the real site as well.

Flay.com is a great wealth of 3D information and resource for loads and loads of links to plugins, tutorials and other mostly Lightwave related news, articles, reviews and links to other helpful sites as well.
Scott Cameron's collection of links to Lightwave tutorials, is one of thee best out there.

I tend to start here first most of the time when I need to find a tutorial on some subject.
NewTek's Lightwave 3D page has plenty of choices of support for you, from forums to video tutorials and files to download.

Try it, you'll like it! :)
Cornucopia is a great site to hang out with other Vue users with their great forums as well as their Class Room section for free tutorials. Very helpful people all browse the forums and plenty of inspirational renderings to spark your imagination too!

Also thee place to purchase loads full of many varieties of plants and objects and other assorted items to be used with your Vue scenes.
E-on, is of course the place to purchase all these great Vue programs from, as well as professional tutorials are for sale their too.

You can find your free update builds too, if you already have any of the Vue programs and yes, they have some tutorials their as well.
Ivan's site has some of thee best Vue tutorials out there, trust me on this one, they are fantastic and he really gets to the heart of a lot of common issues people have. He's a great guy who WILL respond to your emails, just know he is very busy and can't always get back to you right away.

And of course, always be polite when emailing him, as he does have a job and a life and can't always be there to help everyone all the time, so please be patient :)
SeaVue tutorial page is in my Links section, because it's that good and worth going to, even if that's the only tutorial there, it's just that good.

Combine this with Ivan's Foamy Water tutorial and you will be feeling brilliant like these people who created them.

Luxology's Modo is one of the best modeling programs out there, and my personal favorite for shear value and control in the program.

They also have a spot called Luxology.TV, which is a tutorial section that is always being updated with new tips and tricks and previews of upcoming features.

Vertex Monkey has just about the most vast and wide range of modo related freebies anywhere on the planet!

Just a few samples would be, zillions of free plugins (scripts) with usually little small animations that demonstrate how the script works, free materials, sample files and other great resources all for the taking.
SpinQuad is my personal favorite Lightwave forums site around and there are so many great, friendly people that live there that you can generally find someone to help you with your own LW or 3D problems you may be having, but more then that, it's a place to share what you know and what you've created with this great 3D program we love so much.

And of course, it's a great place for critiques on your projects and ideas on various topics as well.
Renderosity is truly the best site for all things 3D.

Forums-a-plenty for just about every single 3D program out there!

A tutorials section that is made up of the generosity of many individuals out there who took the time to put together great tutorials with tips and tricks and thoughts that help you move your creativity along.
NewEgg is my favorite place to purchase most of my online computer parts and software at and their service is second to none, period. And the reviews are honest and they do not delete bad reviews either, so you are assured of getting straight up opinions there.

I highly recommend you checking this place out first, before you spend any of your hard earned money.
Jalbum, what can I say, simply the easiest program out there for creating galleries for your web sites and best of all, it comes in both PC and Mac versions!

In fact, this whole web site you are viewing right now was based from the Gallery page I created with this program, since I loved the look so much :)
Kurv Studios sells some for real awesome training materials there and I've bought many myself and they always have great sales too and very good support from people such as Larry and others.

They give away plenty of free tutorials there as well.
PowWeb Web Hosting is the company I deal with for my own hosting and domain name and all the rest.

I highly recommend anyone who wants fantastic 24/7 fone support and the lowest pricing for the largest amount of web space and bandwidth, to go and check them out.
You won't be sorry, trust me on this one.
